Climate Illiteracy is Costing Pakistan.
This Diploma Fixes That.
The 1st Cohort of the Diploma in Climate Activism set the standard for rigorous, outcome-focused climate education in Pakistan. Out of 400 applicants, only 42 made it through to graduation — and they emerged transformed.
Pakistan is on the Frontline. Are You Prepared?
Pakistan consistently ranks among the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations, yet the gap between climate awareness and climate action has never been wider. Communities face floods, droughts, and glacial melts while decision-makers lack the advocates capable of translating urgency into policy change and public mobilization.
The field of climate activism is no longer optional for those who care about Pakistan’s future. It demands trained professionals who understand the science, can communicate it compellingly, and know how to organize communities and influence institutions. This diploma was created precisely to fill that gap.
Launched in November 2024, this inaugural 10-week program established the training model that would become the hallmark of Climate Action Skills: intense, structured, demanding, and deeply practical. The selection process alone was a signal of seriousness. From 400 registrations, only 65 candidates were selected through a multi-stage screening, and 42 of them completed every requirement to graduate.
