The Learning Opportunity
Climate literacy for everyone, not only for specialists.
This was an early training initiative of Climate Action Skills, designed to make climate change education accessible beyond specialized environmental and climate professionals. Delivered across five sessions, weekly except for one scheduling adjustment around Ramadan, and supported by learning materials, expert-led tutorials, interactive assignments and quizzes, it introduced participants to the causes, impacts and responses associated with climate change in a simple, non-technical way, with resources available beyond the scheduled sessions to support their understanding. It gave Climate Action Skills an important early experience in delivering structured online climate education and helped establish a foundation for the training programs that followed.
