The Opportunity
Climate journalism demands more than reporting what happened.
Specifically designed for fresh graduates of journalism, mass communication, media sciences and social sciences, this 12-week, 52-hour course equipped participants with the knowledge, tools and confidence to become Pakistan's next generation of climate reporters. It was led by Chief Trainer Mujtaba Baig, with 27 years of climate experience. A bilingual approach integrated Urdu terminology alongside English climate frameworks, preparing graduates to communicate effectively with local communities rather than only English-speaking audiences.
