Built on Two Prior Cohorts
From reactive disaster reporting to investigative climate journalism.
The program grew directly out of Pakistan's November 2025 smog crisis, when air quality reached unprecedented levels and newsrooms across the country were forced to cover a climate emergency in real time. It trains working journalists to move past reactive disaster coverage toward proactive, investigative and solutions-focused climate reporting, combining specialized lectures with hands-on data journalism training and live simulation exercises built around real Pakistani events.
